Stowe Mountain Resort-"Ski Capital of the East!" Our legendary ski area made its mark in American ski history when the first single chairlift was installed in 1940, making it the longest and highest ski lift in the United States at the time.

Trails that leave at your doorstep! Guests from the inn can literally put their skis on at our doorstep, and ski the inn's access trail to the 8.5 km groomed Stowe Recreation trail and the Nordic Barn Touring Center. The Center has an excellent rental fleet of Cross-Country, and Snowshoe equipment.

Only 5 minutes from Innsbruck and located at Spruce Peak Village, the Ice Rink is available at no cost and is the perfect complement to your Stowe Mountain Resort Experience. You can either bring your skates or rent!

Scenic rides through the forests, as well as incredible views along the way. Treat yourself to an adventure and experience back country Vermont in its prime winter season. A horse-drawn sleigh ride is a classic experience not to be missed during your stay at the inn. Rochelle Clark and her staff will take you on a journey through a charming covered bridge, winding wooded trail in the woods and through a beautiful snow covered meadow with spectacular views of Mt. Mansfield, Vermonts highest peak.
