Nordic Barn Riding Stables
Conveniently located nextdoor to the inn is the Nordic Barn Riding Stables(253-6433). Michael Martel and his staff provide a special way for our guests to see the rugged beauty of Vermont's lush woodlands.
The one hour guided Trailrides offer a scenic trip along gentle rolling meadows, up and down rocky mountain trails and through crystal clear mountain streams. Truly a wonderful and unique experience for the whole family.
Trail rides are open to riders of all experience and abilities, and both english and western tack are offered.
Rides are offered everyday at 11:00 AM, 1:00 and 3:00 PM by appointment, and can be reserved through our front desk.
The cost is $30 per person. Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted at the stables, however riding fees may be charged to your room.
