Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Experience the magic as Stowe Mountain Resort comes alive with a spectacle of light. The lights go down at 7:00pm and the entertainers take stage on Gondolier trail. Make sure to keep your eyes open and your head up, because after the parade, the show continues in the sky. Meet us at Midway Lodge for the best seat on the mountain!

Stowe Winter Carnival
Winter sports, games and parties all over town! Fun and zany events—ice carving exhibition and Nationally Sanctioned competition, Stowe Super-G Schuss, Snow Volleyball, kid-friendly activities, village night and more. Stowe will be aglow as we transform our town into a fun-filled three day winter festival.

Green Mountain Club’s 13th Annual Snowshoe Festival
Looking for a way to stay active this winter, keep your family fit, or pull the kids away from TV and computer screens? Strap on some snowshoes at the Green Mountain Club’s 13th Annual Snowshoe Festival! Snowshoeing is easy to learn, affordable, and a truly enjoyable way to experience the outdoors during the winter months. For generations the Green Mountain Club has organized winter outings statewide. Just last year the club published "Snowshoeing in Vermont: A Guide to the Best Winter Hikes." This year’s 13th Annual Snowshoe Festival includes numerous activities including workshops on winter cooking and animal tracking; a presentation on Snowflake Bentley; a live Raptor demonstration; and programs for kids that include juggling with snowballs, miniature golf on snowshoes, and ice cave and igloo building. Nine offsite guided tours are also a part of the day’s schedule.

Green Mountain Corvette Classic
An impressive field of magnificent Corvettes will compete for honours in various classes representing more than five decades of production. We will feature a Corvette memorabilia marketplace, and a Corvette corral for prosective buyers.

15th Annual Stowe Garden Festival
A three-day celebration of garden-related events. This year's theme is "Colors and Textures". There will be over 20 events held throughout Stowe, with informative seminars, tours and open houses. This exceptionally popular Stowe event was selected by the Vermont State Chamber as one of the Top Ten Summer Events for 2006.

STOWE CELEBRATES SUMMER ART & CRAFT FESTIVAL
Craftproducers has been producing award winning Festivals for over 30 years and Stowe remains one of our top venues. Our newest Festival, “Stowe Celebrates Summer,” is quickly becoming a Vermont summer radition. Anchored by 150 juried artists and craftspeople, the works include pottery, jewelery, photography, furniture, clothing, accessories, glass, and more. Our Festivals are more then just creative shopping. This summer Festival will also feature a wine tasting by Sante magazine and a culinary pavilion with cooking demos by Stowe area chefs. Live entertainment and delicious festival food complete the event. The festival is held rain or shine under large white Camelot-style tents.

50th Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet
Voted “One of the Top 10 Summer Events” by VT Chamber of Commerce. Rain or Shine the Show goes on!! Over 800 antique & classic cars on display. Daily: Food concessions, giant automotive Flea Market, car corral. Saturday’s Fashion judging contest, antique car parade through town. Enjoy the collector cars by day, at night head to Stowe Village for the “Classic Oldies Street Dance” at the Stowe Post Office Parking Lot. Boogey to hits from the 50's to the 70's, from 7 to 10pm on Saturday night. Free admission to the street dance. Sponsored by WDEV 550AM. Sunday: judges’ breakfast, technical judging of nearly 50 classes of show vehicles; trophies and awards presentation ceremony in the afternoon.

The British Invasion

New England's largest all British classic and sports car show plus British cultural activities, shops, crafts, Auto Jumble and Car Corral. The British Invasion has evolved to become one of the Top Ten Events in Vermont. The participants are primarily from the US and Canada with over 600 cars on field, and approximately 1000 total. This event is "A Four Day Celebration and Salutation to the Great British Motorcar and all manner of other things British."
Admission: $15.00 for a two day pass
