In recognition of this Quebec Holiday dedicated to celebrating the summer solstice and the contributions of French-Canadian culture in North American society, the Drolet Family invite visitors to Stowe to join them for a weekend of festivities that will include traditional music, food, a bonfire and a step back in time to when cannon shots and musket fire on the banks of the St. Lawrence River marked the occasion in 1646!

Listen to the voices of Celine Dion, Gilles Vigneault, Felix Leclerc and other French Canadian musical artists, while enjoying a relaxing complimentary glass of wine, some delicious Vermont local artisan cheeses, and the serene landscape of the inn from the comfort of our Old World brick patio.

Saturday, Morning June 26, 2010 7:30-10:30 AM
Enjoy a traditional French Canadian buffet breakfast including favorites such as baked beans, maple cured sausage, fresh fruit salad, and Creton, the spicy pork pate; all served in the SkiMeister Café which features a large fireplace, and skiing history memorabilia.

Saturday, Evening June 26, 2010 at dusk 8:30-10:00 PM
Relax and enjoy the visual spectacle of a traditional St. Jean Baptiste bonfire against a peaceful Vermont night and let us take you back to the year 1646, when the celebration included cannon shots and musket fire! There will be music and Complimentary coffee, tea, and maple cookies served on the Old World Brick Patio and marshmallows for roasting will be available at the bonfire.

Sunday, Morning June 27, 2010 7:30-10:30 AM
Enjoy a traditional French Canadian buffet breakfast including favorites such as baked beans, maple cured sausage, fresh fruit salad, and breakfast crepes served in the SkiMeister Café or on the open air Old World brick patio.

Guests staying two nights or more will receive a handsome Innsbruck Inn at Stowe coffee mug pour votre café matinal!
